Question: Athletes often give thanks to God for a victory or an individual superior performance. Isn't that rooted in arrogance, vanity, and selfishness? Why would God favor one sports team over another, and what does the Bible say about personal claims to God's influence?

Is Hoffer saying the simple solution to busyness is to do the right thing at the right time? How many people could have avoided starting the week tired after getting Monday off due to the Labor Day holiday by doing what they should do instead of what they wanted to do?
