Watts, Okla.

Harold Eugene Anderson, 61, died July 29, 2009, in Watts, Okla.

He was born May 5, 1948, in Jay, Okla., to Jewel and Alameda Coleman Anderson.

He was a graduate of Westville High School. He was a truck driver, carpenter and a veteran who served as a medic in Hawaii during the Vietnam War. Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a son, Matt Anderson of Stilwell, Okla.; three sisters, Frela Walden and husband Elmer of Rudy, Ark ., Carolyn Stone of Rising Star, Texas, and Vera Langley of Arkoma, Okla.; and a grandchild.

Graveside services were held Aug. 3, 2009, at Bell Cemetery in Watts with the Rev. Jerry Sadler officiating.

Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gentry

J.D. Anderson, 72, of Gentry, Ark., died Aug. 6, 2009, at his home.

He was born Jan. 24, 1937, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Buddy and Mamie Pryor Anderson.

He married Inez Ames on Jan. 16, 1961, in Stilwell, Okla.

He worked for nearly 38 years for the city of Siloam Springs at the wastewater treatment plant. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and loved working in his yard, gardening, building bird houses and shooting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Anderson; and a grandson.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, James Anderson of Gentry; a daughter, Roxie James of Springdale; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

No visitation is planned.

Graveside services will be held Aug. 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Beavers officiating.

Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Siloam Springs

Thelma Jean McCuistion, 72 of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 6, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Ark.

She was born Sept. 18, 1936, in Siloam Springs to Paul and Flossie Phillips Rollman.

She married Robert "Bob" McCuistion in Jay, Okla., on Feb. 21, 1964. She had retired after 50 years at Arvest Bank and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; three sons, John McCuistion of Tulsa, Okla., Paul McCuistion and wife Kristin of Sand Springs, Okla., and Michael McCuistion and wife Rhonda of Fayetteville, Ark.; a brother, Donnie Rollman of Oaks, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Aug. 9, 2009, at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Aug. 10, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Tim Estes officiating.

Burial will be held at Weddington Cemetery in Wedington, Ark.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Circle of Life Hospice Home in her name.
