SILOAM SPRINGS — Martha Patterson of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Wade Whittington of Fayetteville, Ark., were married June 13, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church in Siloam Springs.
The bride is the daughter of Darl and Maudine Patterson of Siloam Springs, and the granddaughter of Martha Slack of Inola, Okla.
She is a 2005 graduate of John Brown University and is a kindergarten teacher in Siloam Springs.
The groom is the son of Charles and Sandra Whittington of Fort Smith, Ark., and the grandson of Geraldine McBride of Fort Smith.
He is a 2002 graduate of Arkansas Tech and is a chemist for Tyson Foods.
The ceremony was officiated by Daryl Kendrick.
Bridesmaids were Shellie Kindy and Marena Harmon, both of Siloam Springs.
Junior bridesmaids were Seagan Harmon and Jessi Kindy.
Groomsmen were Brian Bangs of Charleston, Ark., and Jeff Wyatt of Conway, Ark.
Ushers were Jim McEachern and Jim Terry.
The bride was given away by her father.
A reception was held at First Presbyterian Church following the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and will live in Fayetteville.
