— Ludwik Adamczyk

Ludwik Adamczyk, 93, of Gentry, Ark., died Aug. 8, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 28, 1916, in Wolsk, Russia, to Alexander and Jadwiga Cyganska Adamczyk.

He worked as a cattle farmer and was a member of Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He is survived by a son, Andrew Adams of Sarasota, Fla.; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Bertha L. Bethke

Bertha L. Bethke, 87, Aug. 8, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was born Dec. 8, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo., to Edward and Gladys Cashman Lepold.

She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Tucson, Ariz., where she was a member of El Camino Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bethke on Dec. 26, 2005. She moved to Springdale to be near her family.

She is survived by two sons, Ron Bethke and Bob Bethke and wife Judy all of Siloam Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 12, 2009, at Culpepper Place Assisted Living in Springdale. A graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13, 2009, at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery with Pastor Bob Bethke officiating.

Billy F. Bolinger

Billy F. Bolinger, 65, of Lockney, Texas, died Aug. 9, 2009, at W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital in Lockney.

He was born March 20, 1944, in Spring Lake, Texas, to Willie and Olive Miller Bolinger.

He attended schools and graduated from Hereford, Texas, in 1961. He married Twila Hulsey on Nov. 3, 2002, in Aiken, Texas. They moved to Lockney from Siloam Springs, Ark., in 2003.

He loved to camp, work in his yard, and the company of his family. He enjoyed driving trucks and was employed by Wal-Mart for 23 years.

He was a member of the Baptist Church in Aiken.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, Lora Bolinger.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, William Bolinger and wife Brandy of Gentry, Ark; two daughters, Melanie Silvey and husband Duane of Siloam Springs, and Denise Smith and husband Rodney of Lockney; four brothers, Edwin Bolinger of Las Piñatas, Texas, Ray Bolinger of Siloam Springs, Loyd Hulsey and Johnny Butler both of Hereford; two sisters, Minnie Huckeby and Kathy Patterson both of Siloam Springs; and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Aiken Baptist Church, 925 Utica, Plainview, Texas 79072.

Funeral services were held Aug. 11, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Lockney, with the Rev. Dennis Butler officiating and the Rev. Ricky Carstensen assisting.

Burial was at Lockney Cemetery.

A local memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Gentry.

Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney was in charge of arrangements.

Irene Fern Tate

Irene Fern Tate, 89, died Aug. 6, 2009.

She was born Aug. 12, 1919, in Harrison, Ark., to Christopher and Nellie Coats.

She married Herbert Tate on May 9, 1940. She was a homemaker who loved to cook. She was a cook at Watts Schools for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening and working with her hands. She was a faithful member of Old Baptist Mission Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Stephen Tate.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorthy Hester and husband Bentz of Westville, Okla.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Aug. 8, 2009, at Old Baptist Mission Church with Brother Ricky Williams officiating.

Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery

Roberts Funeral Home in Stilwell, Okla., was in charge of arrangements.
