SILOAM SPRINGS Barclay, Eads engaged
Raymond and Sandra Barclay of Fayetteville, Ark., announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their son, Jason Barclay of Fayetteville, to Michelle Eads of St. Louis, Mo.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Nancy Eads of St. Louis. She is a 2003 graduate of St. Joseph Academy High School in St. Louis and a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in physical therapy.
She is employed as a physical therapist at Core Medical Inc.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Siloam Springs High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in physical therapy.
He is employed as a physical therapist at Core Medical Inc.
The wedding will be held May 22, 2010, in St. Louis. Ray, Despain wed
Tim Despain and Katie Ray of Siloam Springs, Ark., were married on Oct. 9, 2009, in Panama City Beach, Fla., in a beach wedding in front of Palazzo Resort.
The bride is the daughter of Ted and Jamie Ray of Siloam Springs and P.J. Cooper of Shattuck, Okla.
She is the granddaughter of Charlie and Anita Ray of Siloam Springs, Wayne and Lee Pugh of Shattuck and Joyce Couch of Siloam Springs. The groom is the son of Gary and Joy Despain of Siloam Springs and Mark and Alice Alexander of Gravette, Ark. He is the grandson of Betty Harmon of Rathdrum, Idaho. Rianna Cooper, sister of the bride, was the flower girl. The bride’s father gave her away in marriage. The couple will make their home in Siloam Springs. Birth announcements accepted
Parents who wish to have birth announcements published in the Herald-Leader will now need to submit the announcements directly to the newspaper office.
Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital will no longer be sending birth announcements to area newspapers.
If parents wish to submit a birth announcement for publication, the following information will be needed:
• Parent(s) name and city and state of residence;
• Baby’s name, date of birth, place of birth, weight and length;
• Sibling first names;
• Grandparent names and city and state of residence;
• Great-grandparent names and city and state of residence; and
• A signed release and/or contact information from listed parents to verify information before publication.
Information may be supplied to the newspaper directly by stopping by the office at 101 N. Mt. Olive in Siloam Springs.
The newspaper will request permission to publish from both parents in the event the mother and father do not share the same last name.
