SILOAM SPRINGS — Siloam Springs Herald-Leader staff welcomed new sports editor Graham Thomas to the paper Monday.

Thomas comes to the Herald-Leader from the Benton County Daily Record, where he had worked as sports writer since June 2006.

He previously worked as sports writer at the Jonesboro Sun for two years.

Thomas, who’s 27, is originallyfrom Jackson, Miss.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Louisiana State University in 2004.

Thomas and his wife, Amy, have two children Nathan, almost 4, and Emma, 1.
