SILOAM SPRINGS The Tigers and the Panthers little league football teams of the Boys & Girls Club notched victories Saturday morning at Glenn W.
Black Stadium at Siloam Springs High School.
The Tigers defeated the Bears 13-12 in a game that featured a long touchdown play in the first half. TheBears responded with a strong second half but fell short by a point.
In the game immediately following, the Panthers beat the Sooners 16-0. In a first half filled with interceptionsand fumbles, the Panthers scored once to take the lead and added a second half touchdown.
The two teams were scheduled to play the championship Tuesday night atGlenn W. Black Stadium. For results, see Siloam Sunday.
The Boys & Girls Club’s upcoming basketball registration for boys and girls in grades 1-6 will be on back-toback Saturdays, Nov. 7 andNov. 14., from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the club.
The program fees, which inclues a 2010 membership, are $55.
