SILOAM SPRINGS Milton Edward Erskin Milton Edward Erskin, 77, of Gentry, Ark., died Sept. 28, 2009, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center in Siloam Springs, Ark.
He was born Aug. 14, 1932, in Alma, Mich., to Milton and Mattie Rockwell Erskin.
He worked in manufacture engineering and in management for Aero Jet and General Dynamics. He married Betty Busch in Riverside, Calif., on Oct. 26,1956. He was a member of First Christian Church in Siloam Springs.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Erskin.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Malinda May and husband Gary of Mahomet, Ill., Jill Maberry and husband Scott of Riverside; a son, Daniel Erskin and wife Shana of Gentry; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Edgar Erskin of South Bend, Ind., and Douglas Erskin, of Michigan; and a sister, Barb Erskin of South Carolina.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 4, 2009, at Wasson Funeral Home at Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 5, 2009, at Wasson Memorial Chapel with Paul Vunileva officiating.
Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. Memorial contributions may be sent to First Christian Church Baptistery, in Siloam Springs.

Ella Fay Johnson
Ella Fay Johnson, 63, of Blytheville, Ark., died Oct. 1, 2009, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.
She was born Aug. 16,1946, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Charles and Clara Atkins Riggins. She was a housekeeper for Holiday Inn in Springdale, Ark., and was a carrier for The Morning News.
She married Jimmy Johnson in Osceola, Ark., on Sept. 2, 1993.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Charles Riggins.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Laura Young of Fayetteville, Ark.; a son, David Kirk of Tahlequah, Okla.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister Vicki Hawkins of Glendale, Ariz.; and two brothers, Oscar Riggins of Siloam Springs, and A.J. Riggins of Watts, Okla.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Oct. 7, 2009, at Heritage Square Nursing and Rehab Center in Blytheville with George Nichols officiating.

Larry Pearson Harris
Larry Pearson Harris, 27, of Gravette, Ark., died Sept. 26, 2009, at Ozarks Community Hospital.
He was born July 23, 1982, in Gravette to James and Carol Urchison Harris. He worked as a brick mason and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gravette.
He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Kira Bahorich of Las Vegas, N.V.; three brothers, Bryan Harris and wife Dawn of Rogers, Ark., Luke Hamilton of Bentonville, Ark., and Robert Harris of Fort Riley, Kan.; two sisters, Meredith Bramel and husband Matt of Sulphur Springs, Ark., and Brandy Harris of Independence, Mo.; and his grandparents, George and Edith Urchison of Sulphur Springs.
Private funeral services were held Oct. 2, 2009 at FirstBaptist Church with Pastor Glenn Bertrand officiating.

Earlene Robison, 69, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Oct. 1, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
She was born Nov. 13, 1939, in Elkhart, Kan., to John Teton and Stella Forbes.
She received her GED in 1997 at the age of 56. She was a line supervisor and first responder. She retired five years ago from Allen Canning Company. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvil Robison; and her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Georgenia Harris and husband Willie of Siloam Springs; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis Carlile and wife Nelda of Meade, Kan., Clifford Carlile and wife Debbie of Hot Springs, Ark., and Bill Carlile and wife Teresa of Elkhart; and two sisters, Jane Bashford and husband Dave of Richfield, Kan., and Leona Riener and husband Bruce of Fowler, Kan.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Oct. 4, 2009, at Church of the Nazarene in Siloam Springs with Pastor Warren Foxworthy officiating.
Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery near Siloam Springs.

Frances Luene Selby, 84, of Kennewick, Wash., died Sept. 15, 2009, at her home.
She was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Siloam Springs Ark., where she grew up and graduated from high school.
She married Arnold Selby on Sept. 20, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Anita and June; and a great-great-granddaughter, Laynee.
She is survived by a son, Gene; a daughter, Carla; 12 grandchildren; 28 greatgrandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Sept. 18, 2009, at Mueller's Tri-cities Funeral Home in Kennewick with burial in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Jimmy Ray Severn
Jimmy Ray Severn, 44, of Decatur, Ark., died Sept. 28, 2009, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
He was born April 17, 1965, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to George and Carol Daniels Severn.
He was a graduate of Gentry High School and received a bachelor's degree from Central Bible College in 1987.
He was pastor of Newsong Church in Centerton, Ark. He married Lynn Richardson in Whiteland, Ind., on Sept. 5, 1987.
He is survived by his wife of the home; his parents of Gentry, Ark.; a brother, Glenn Severn and wife Connie of Gentry; and his grandfather, Harvey Severn of London, Ark.
Funeral services were held Oct. 3, 2009, at Gamble Elementary School in Centerton, Ark., with the Rev. Brad McMath officiating.
Burial was at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Ark.

Deborah Louise Taylor, 57, of Springdale, Ark., died Oct. 1, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
She was born Dec. 4, 1952, in Antioch, Calif., to Charles Burns and Iva Cryder Stout.
She worked as the claims manager for Willis Shaw Express and was a member of First Baptist Church of Springdale.
She enjoyed spending time with family, her dogs, going to church and garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Tamatha Ketcher of Gentry, Ark.; three sons, Kevin Taylor of Springtown, Ark., Jonathan Taylor and wife Nicole of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Matthew Taylor of Siloam Springs; a brother, Chris Brown; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 4, 2009, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 5, 2009, in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Springdale with the Rev. Doug Sarver officiating.
Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
