Elijah Daniel Bennett, 4, of Westville, Okla., died Oct. 4, 2009, in Siloam Springs, Ark.
He was born Feb. 7, 2005, in Siloam Springs, to Toney and Julia Hill Bennett.
He attended school in Westville and enjoyed playing computer games and story time.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother of the home; a sister, Morgan Hill of the home; a brother, Alexander Hill of the home; maternal grandparents, Bob and Rita Hill of Westville; and paternal grandparents, Russell and Kathy Canoe of Leach, Okla.
Funeral services were held Oct. 9, 2009, at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. John Keys officiating.
Burial was at Westville City Cemetery.

Toney Gerald Bennett
Toney Gerald Bennett, 28, of Westville, Okla., died Oct. 4, 2009, in West Siloam Springs, Okla.
He was born Aug. 30, 1981, in Jay, Okla., to Russell and Kathy Bennett Canoe.
He worked at Wal-Mart in Grove, Okla., and attended First Baptist Church of Colcord, Okla.
His son, Elijah Bennett, died shortly after his father.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ellen Canoe; and his grandfather, Chester Swake.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Bennett of the home; a daughter, Morgan Hill of the home; a son, Alexander Hill of the home; his parents of Leach, Okla.; three brothers, Benjamin, Joseph Canoe, both of Colcord, and Diego Sanders of Kansas, Okla.; and grandparents Eura Canoe and Daniel Canoe.
Funeral services were held Oct. 9, 2009, at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro.
John Keys officiating.
Burial was at Westville City Cemetery.

Blanche Suzanne Brown
Blanche Suzanne Brown, 71, of Kansas, Okla., died Oct.
8, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark.
She was born March 4, 1938, in Littlefield, Texas.
She attended Southern Methodist University and completed her degree in teaching at NSU. She married Howard Brown on Aug. 2, 2002. She was a member of the NEA Teacher’s Union and First Baptist Church in Kansas.
She is survived by her husband of the home; five sons, George Allen and wife Annessa of Kansas; Perry Prather of Los Angeles, Calif., Randy Brown and wife Susan of Joplin, Mo., Derrick Brown and wife Summer of Seneca, Mo.; and Zachary Brown of Joplin, Missouri; two daughters, Sally Haggard and husband Jason of Colcord, Okla., and Amanda Rich and husband Brad of Joplin; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Oct. 12, 2009, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Oct. 13, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Kansas with Larry Combs officiating.
Burial will follow at Kansas Cemetery.

Hiram Devor
Hiram Devor, 69, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Oct. 6, 2009, at his home.
He was born May 23, 1940, in Pennsylvania.
He was a carpet layer for 40 years and was a Christian. He loved fishing, traveling and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son.
He is survived by his wife Connie Devor of the home; a daughter, Cathy Devor of Tulsa, Okla., two step children;
Gwendolyn Boston and husband Byron of Westville, Okla.,and “Bo” Eugene Mitchell and wife Stephanie, of Tennessee; two grandchildren; and 10 step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Oct. 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. at General Assembly of the First Born in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Juanita Gregorin, 88, of Cincinnati, Ark., died Oct. 5, 2009, at her home.
She was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Anderson, S.C., to Charlie and Rilla BrayLeaird. She married Frank Gregorin Jr. on Dec. 28, 1943, in Athens, Ga.
She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Gregorin’s Appliance Store. She was member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs, Ark. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and B.Y.K.O.T.A.
Sunday school class. She sang in the senior joy choir and authored two books: “Glorious Thunder” and “Den of Iniquity.”
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Schwieder and husband Fred of Summers, Ark., and Debbie Jensen and husband Randy of Gentry, Ark.; two sons, David Gregorin and wife Margaret of Fayetteville, N.C., and Dennis Gregorin and wife Beverly of Little Falls, N.Y.; a sister, Anne Pruitt of Siloam Springs, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs, on Oct. 9, 2009, with Steve Abbott officiating.
Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Stephen Lee Whitson
Stephen Lee Whitson, 59, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Oct.
5, 2009.
He was born April 20, 1950, at Durant, Okla., to Elmer and Ramona Whitson. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Army serving during the Vietnam War.
He married Lynda Vann at Dallas, Texas, on April 2, 1979.
He worked as a certified boiler operator for the Rock-Tenn Company. His hobbies included fishing, bowling and playing dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Allora Whitson. He is survived his wife of the home; four children, Kimberly Mayfield and husband Larland of Mountain Grove, Mo., Tabitha Wall and husband Sam of Scurry, Texas, Stephen Whitson and wife Sarah of Dardanelle, Ark., Ramona Dickerson and husband Frank of Clarksville, Ark.; a brother, James Whitson and wife Linda; two sisters, Marla Arredondo and husband Andy, Delayne McKnight and husband David; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Oct. 8, 2009.
Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers, Ark., was in charge of arrangements.
