— John A. Garner I

John A. Garner I, 72, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Oct. 11, 2009, in Siloam Springs.

He was born July 9, 1937, in Stanford, N.C., to John and Vallie Jackson Garner.

He served in the Navy and then worked for a lumber yard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Smith Garner.

He is survived by two sons, John Garner II of Siloam Springs, and James Garner of Fayetteville; two daughters, Robin Coons of Tulsa, Okla., and Kelly Dyer of Ponca City, Okla.; two sisters, Betty Rivera of Portola, Calif., and Jackie Sweeney of Watsonville, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A private burial service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers is in charge of arrangements.

Anna Belle Morris

Anna Belle Morris, 83, of Watts, Okla., died Oct. 10, 2009, in Watts, Okla.

She was born on June 3, 1926, in Proctor Ford, Okla., toJohn and Elizabeth Parris Fletcher.

She married Tillman Morris on June 19,1943.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

brothers, John Fletcher, Earl Fletcher, Virgil Fletcher and Earl Wilson; and a sister, Margaret Ross.

She is survived by her husband of the home; children, Elizabeth Waldroop of Watts, Barbara Clark and husband Johnny of Watts, John Morris and wife Denise of Watts, T.C. Morris Jr. of Watts; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six greatgreat-grandchildren; abrother, Cecil Fletcher and wife Vicy of Watts; and a sister, Joyce Ellis and husband David of Lincoln, Ark.

Funeral services were held Oct. 13, 2009, at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Brother Bill Holcomb officiating.

Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.

Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Dylan Wayne Thurman

Dylan Wayne Thurman, 15, of Summers, Ark., died Oct. 11, 2009 near his home.

He was born Aug. 13, 1994, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Jimmy and Danelle Thurman.

He was a student of the ninth grade at Siloam Springs High School. He was involved in FFA wererecently he showed the class how to drive a tractor and showed steers for the 4H Club.

He was a member of the Sager Creek Community Church in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Barbara Thurman; and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Ceola.

He is survived by his parents of the home; a grandfather, Cletus Ceola of Tontitown, Ark.; four sisters, Ashton Glenn and husband Matt of Summers, Ark., Jaelyn Thurman, Rae Thurman and Josie Thurman, all of the home.

Visitation will be held Oct. 15, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Sager Creek Community Church in SiloamSprings with Pastor Jim Henderson officiating.

Burial will be at Weddington Cemetery in Wedington, Ark.

Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark., is in charge of arrangements.

Judy Elaine Myers

Judy Elaine Myers, 61, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Oct. 11, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Ark.

She was born Aug. 3, 1948, in Reed City, Mich., to Clyde and Betty Bennett.

She married Rolland Myers on July 31, 1965, in Evart, Mich. She retired from Peterson Farms after 29 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.

She is survived by her husband of the home; a son, Roddy Myers and wife Teresa of Siloam Springs;

three daughters, Dawn Boren and husband Michael of Gravette, Ark., Shelly Sikes and husband Dusty of Gentry, Ark., and Kim McReynolds of the home; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs on Oct. 14, 2009, at 10 a.m.

with Brother Tim Cypert and Brother Keith Harper officiating.

Burial will be at Allen Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Decatur State Bank.

James Arthur Rector

James Arthur Rector, 50, of Westville, Okla., died Oct. 7, 2009, in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born Oct. 1, 1959, to Thomas and Margaret Morris Rector.

He was employed atCherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs, Okla., as an information technologytechnician.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lace and Ola Rector and his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Bertha Haggard Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rector of Westville; a son, Brendal Rector of Muskogee, Okla.;

a daughter, Kylia Rector of Fayetteville, Ark., his parents of Glendora, Calif.;

two brothers, Thomas Rector II and wife Sara of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Robert Rector and wife Ann of Westville; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held Oct. 12, 2009, in Roberts Funeral Chapel with Brother Darrell Self and Sister Dorothy Smith officiating.

Burial was at Westville City Cemetery.

Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
