SILOAM SPRINGS Garside, Rooney to wed Dec. 19
Lori Garside of Gentry, Ark., and Bryan Rooney of Guy announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Leonard and Lynn Garside of Gentry. She is a 2005 graduate of Gentry High School. She attends University of Central Arkansas on a track scholarship where she will graduate December 2009. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha and helps lead worship at Fellowship Bible Church in Conway. In the summer, she works at Camp War Eagle in Rogers and is finishing her degree as an intern at Greenbrier High School.
The prospective groom is the son of Daniel and Sherry Rooney of Guy. He is a 2004 graduate of Guy-Perkins High School and will graduate from University of Central Arkansas in May 2010. He is a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he leads worship music. He also leads worship at Fellowship Bible Church in Conway. He does youth and camp ministry.
He is employed at Surgical Associates of Conway and interns at Ruth Doyle Middle School.
The wedding is set for 3 p.m., Dec. 19, 2009, at Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene with reception to follow.
Cunningham, Martin to exchange vows Oct. 31
Susan Cunningham and Alex Martin, both of Springdale, Ark., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sandra and Louie Cunningham of Everton, Ark., and is a 1999 graduate of Bruno-Pyeatte HighSchool.
The prospective groom is the son of Jo Ellen and Richard Martin of Gentry, Ark., and is a 2000 graduate of Gentry High School.
The wedding will take place on Oct. 31, 2009, at 1 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Gentry.
Pelz, Rue say ‘I do ’
Gary and Kelly Pelz announce the marriage of their son Jay Pelz, of Siloam Springs, Ark., to Kammy Rue of Fayetteville, Ark.
The bride is the daughter of Bud and Kathey Rue ofOzark, Ark.
The couple married on Sept. 12, 2009, at The Woods Resort in Eureka Springs, Ark.
A reception will be held Nov. 15, 2009, in Ozark.
