SILOAM SPRINGS — Patsy Ilene Weeks Stell

Patsy Ilene Weeks Stell, 60, of Decatur, Ark., died Sept. 17, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark.

She was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Decatur, to Orval and Sylvia Weeks Burr.

She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Stell on July 2, 1966. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a granddaughter, Angel.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Stell and wife Samantha, and Kevin Stell and wife Brandy, all of Gentry, Ark.; a daughter, Regina Straut and husband William of Gore, Okla.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Weeks and wife Nita, and Rick Weeks and wife Susie of Gentry; and a sister, Violet Harrington of Decatur, Ark.

Funeral services were held Sept. 19, 2009, at Victory Baptist Church in Gentry with Larry Hendren officiating.

Burial will be private.

Dorothy Kaufman

Trammell

Dorothy Kaufman Trammell, 90, of Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Gentry, Ark., died Sept. 17, 2009, at Golden Acres, in Dallas.

She was born April 26, 1919, in Kingman County, Kan., to Amos and Amelia Kaufman. She moved to Gentry in 1936 with her family and graduated from Gentry High School in 1937.

She married Eugene Trammell on Sept. 16, 1941. She lived in numerous places including Missouri, Connecticut, Oklahoma and Arkansas. She worked for a Tulsa daycare center as their cook for a number of years. She enjoyed quilting and other hand work.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Coffman of Dallas, and Letha Logan of Azusa, Calif.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren;

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sept. 21, 2009, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., with Dr. Robin Cowin officiating.

Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery.
