— Homecoming fair

A homecoming and missions fair will be held Oct. 4 at Gum Springs Baptist Church, 20054 Keck Rd.

Missions that are supported by the church will be represented. There will be a dinner on the grounds following the morning services.

Lifechain

Lifechain will be held on Oct 4 from 2 to 3 p.m. in front of 2 B's Auto on Hwy. 412.

Lifechain is an annual pro-life event where participants come together in peaceful vigil to stand for the unborn.

Mothering Matters

Mothering Matters is a ministry of Siloam Springs Bible Church designed to encourage and equip mothers of young children in the community. Mothering Matters meets the first and third Friday of each month throughout the school year from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Childcare will be provided for preschool kids, but mothers of all stages are welcome.

Main meetings on first Fridays feature a speaker and group discussion. A Care Group Bible study and one free hour of childcare for moms will be offered each third Friday of the month.

Cooking seminar

The October Heart Life speaker at First Baptist Church will be dietitian Ingrid DeYoung. The topic is: "Delighting in our Dinner: Once-A-Month-Cooking."

The seminar will be held Oct. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the church's fellowship hall in Siloam Springs.

Child care for young children and a study hall for school-aged home-educated children are available by reservation.

Heart Life is the new namefor the women's ministry of First Baptist Church. More information about this seminar and other Heart Life ministries can be found on the Web site at www.fbcsiloam.com.

FBC TeamKID

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids birth to fifth grade to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with him.

Using stimulating Bible story presentations, life application, Bible verse memorization, and high-voltage games, kids learn biblical principles for their daily lives. TeamKID meets Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. throughout the school year.

TenderCare preschool

TenderCare preschool, a ministry of First Baptist Church, is a developmentally-appropriate, Christ-based school, for early childhood learning. TenderCare has classes for children 2 1/2 to 4 years old.

'20 Something'

Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, in Siloam Springs, is offering an adult class called "20 Something." This class is for singles who have graduated from high school through age 30. For more information, call 549-3595.
